As you all know, I do not have a green thumb and I do not enjoy gardening, but I am trying to create a rock garden in the back of my yard to take away from the ugly drainage area. I don't tend to this area very often because my husband saw a HUGE snake there the other day...he described it as being "huge and very long" and I asked him if he was sure it was not a dinosaur!
But either way, the boots are fun to look at rather than the rocks...thanks Leigh for the great idea!

I love this idea Patti. Thanks for sharing it. My sisterinlaw has taken cowboy boots and put Sunflowers in them for decor before and it is a real cute idea for cowboy or rustic theme too. Love the boots! Be blessed. Cindy
ReplyDeleteSomehow I missed the boot flower garden on Leigh's blog, but that is super cute! I especially love them sitting on top of the rock.
ReplyDeleteSuch a cute idea!! My mother in law uses old work boots and fills them with cactus or a plant called hens and chicks. THey are very neat looking!!
ReplyDeleteThose are very cute! You know I'm going to be looking for rain boots at a garage sale now...and for some reason I can't get the song "These boots are made for Walking" out of my head...and I have you to thank :-)

Very fun. They are so cheerful and colorful. I'm sure you'll enjoy them all summer!
ReplyDeleteWhat a fun idea! I love the little boots you picked up. I am hosting a giveaway and I'd love it if you stopped by!

Hi Patti,
ReplyDeleteGreat idea for using some of the rulers for a table top. Gives me a good excuse to go find an old table now too.
I'll keep you posted!
Jane
Darling and unique!
ReplyDeleteMaybe the snake hates boots?
Hugs!

I've seen this too and will probably copy the idea if I can only find the little boots!!
