Starburst Jigglers

Who doesn't like jello?  This was a staple dessert in my house growing up, probably because it was quick and easy to prepare and inexpensive!!  Today I made some for my grandsons for Easter.

Rather than using Jello brand, I used Starburst gelatin, cherry flavor.

  1. To prepare Jello/Starburst gelatin jigglers the boiling water to Jello ratio is 1:1
  2. Don’t add any cold water!
  3. After stirring for about 2 minutes, pour into silicone molds.  (You can also pour into a cake pan and when set use cookies cutters, but that is more time consuming!
  4. Refrigerate 3-4 hours until set and then place in freezer over night (this makes it easy to remove from mold)
  5. Pop out of molds, and bring to refrigerated temp.  Keep refrigerated until ready to serve - enjoy!

Don't forget to give him a little tail of fresh whipped cream!

  4. I didn’t understand the 1:1 description either and didn’t see the comment clarifying. I ended up following the box instructions for the Starburst jello, but skipped the cold water part. I did 1.5 cups and the jigglers came out perfect.
