While I am at the Mackenzie-Childs Barn Sale and lunching at the Aurora Inn, I thought I would share a few pictures of my flowers (and remember, I am NOT a gardener, nor do I enjoy it):
Valeree at Fall Creek Cottage reminded me that I attempted to make herb markers in the winter, so I pulled them out and placed them around - hers came out much better than mine! This little basil plant is sort of pathetic, huh?
I have been playing with iPhoto and I antiqued this photo of my garden chair:
And softened the edges here:
This shell is from our trip to Cayman Islands this past February, filled with chickens and hens:
And my all time favorite (probably because you don't have to do anything to make them grow), Tiger Lilies:
If you missed yesterday's post about MacKenzie-Childs estate, read on below....
I will be posting about my day at M-C soon, so stay tuned!
Looks fantastic for a non-gardener. My garden seems to be growing despite having me as the caretaker. :o)
ReplyDeleteHi Patti,
ReplyDeleteI'm just getting caught up on your posts. I don't like gardening either....not one flower is blooming in my yard. For a non-gardener, you have some pretty flowers.
Great buy on all of that fabric in your previous post! $5.00 for 4 yds!!! That could be dangerous! Looking forward to seeing what you make with all the gorgeous material.
Jane
I love your flowers! I can only grow a limited number of flowers myself! Thanks for entering my giveaway! Happy weekend!...hugs...Debbie
ReplyDeleteSo pretty! I like playing with Iphoto too...especially if I am in the photo--ha! wish I could air brush off a few lbs.
