Are you looking for something new this holiday season, perhaps a new snack to serve or maybe you are feeling crafty? Well, scroll through this post to see if anything inspires you!
Here is an easy snack to make for your charcuterie tray or a simple TV snack:
SPICY BLACK PEPPER PARMESAN PISTACHIOS
8 oz pistachios in their shells
1 1/2 T olive oil
1 1/2 T dry Black Pepper/Parmesan Ranch seasoning (about 1/2 packet)
1/2 t cayenne pepper ***
1 t dried dill weed
1 T grated parmesan cheese
DIRECTIONS:
- Preheat your oven to 250° F.
- In a small bowl, mix together the dry seasoning, cayenne pepper, dried dill weed and Parm cheese. Set aside.
- Place the pistachios in a zip bag. Drizzle with oil and toss until the pistachios are evenly coated.
- Sprinkle 1/2 the seasoning mixture over the pistachios and shake well to combine. Repeat this process with the remaining seasoning mixture, shake well again until all nuts are covered
- Spread the seasoned pistachios evenly onto a large baking sheet covered with parchment paper. Bake for 20 minutes, stirring once halfway through.
- Remove the pistachios from the oven and let them cool completely. Store in an airtight container or resealable bags.
***If you don't like "spicy", omit the cayenne pepper!

Here's an ol' standby - Christmas Trash:
I bought "trash cans" at the Dollar tree for packaging!

Add a little guacamole to your deviled eggs:
This is always fun, not only for kids but adults love it, too. Cut a pair of shapes out of brown paper, decorate with paint or markers, stitch together 3/4th around, fill with candy , lottery tickets, or a little gift and continue stitching closed!

Paint on brown cardstock and staple to a zip bag filled with home made fudge:

Hand paint your gift bags and tags this year - If you are not artistic, you can use stencils, cut out old Christmas Cards, holiday photos or use rubber stamps!
. Decorate cans to hold your gift:
Use Sculpey Clay to create large buttons or flowers:
Paint a few cinnamon sticks to tie on presents:
Hope you found a little inspiration here to use during this holiday season!
