Today I am joining Rita @ Panoply and 18___others for a Valentine Tablescape Hop:
I set the table for John and I for a simple lunch of soup and sandwich:
I layered lace placemats over a white tablecloth and placed the crock on top of heart dishes I have had for over 20 years.
I know it's hard to believe but these placemats are plastic !
We are trying a new flavor - Rose Lemonade
I rolled the napkins into a heart shape (directions are below):
I elevated the MacKenzie-Childs sandwich plate with a small enamel cake pedestal:
The napkin fold is quite easy.
So what 's on the menu:
Mini grilled ham and cheese sandwiches....
Made with my favorite bread:
And this soup:
And there are lots of sweets close by to satisfy our sweet tooth after lunch:
