Hand Painted Gift Bags
This month's theme for 10 on the 10th is Christmas in July. This is where we spend under $10 related to the theme. This is also a blog hop so I hope you will visit the three blogs at the bottom of this post!
I think the presentation of a gift is just as important as the gift itself, so here's a quick and easy idea to make your gift special !
Supplies needed:
I simply free-hand painted holiday designs on each of the three gift bags and three coordinating gift tags cut from a sheet of cardstock. A simple checked bow is tied onto the handle and the gift tag is attached with a mini clothespin:
If you are not artistic, you can use stencils, cut out old Christmas Cards, holiday photos or use rubber stamps!
Recap:
3 paper bags - 3/$1 @ Dollar Tree
1 roll ribbon - $1 @ Dollar Tree
Clothespins - $2 @ Michael's on sale
Acrylic paints and cardstock - all on hand
Each bag cost about $1.33 each, with leftover supplies for another project!
Hop on over to see what my friends have created without spending more than $10:
What a lovely way to make a gift extra special and that mini-clothespin is a clever way to attach the tag. Great idea, Patti!
