A creamsicle cocktail is a sweet, creamy, and nostalgic drink that combines the flavors of orange and vanilla in an adult beverage. The core ingredients are typically vodka (often vanilla or whipped cream flavored), orange juice (or orange soda), and whipped cream (or half-and-half, ice cream, or orange sherbet).
I used Pinnacle Whipped Vodka and OJ, as well as a dollop of whipped cream:
Mini martini glasses are an ideal way to introduce someone to a new beverage. They hold only an ounce and are perfect for "sampling":
These cocktails are sweet and sometimes you just need a little taste, rather than a full glass!
- 1 oz Pinnacle Whipped Vodka
- 2 oz orange juice (fresh-squeezed is best)
- Ice cubes
- Whipped cream for garnish (optional)
- Makes 1 cocktail or 3 minis
- Fill a cocktail shaker with ice cubes.
- Pour the vodka and orange juice into the shaker.
- Shake well until the mixture is chilled and combined.
- Strain the mixture into a chilled martini or cocktail glass.
- Garnish with a dollop of whipped cream
These cocktail will remind you of eating creamsicles as a kid!
Make this cocktail more special by serving it in a MacKenzie-Childs Courtly Check Coupe Glass

ReplyDeleteI am laughing here because not too long ago I bought a bottle of that whipped cream Vodka, and then couldn’t for the life of me remember why. Your blog post was quite timely, and I guarantee that I am going to be making these over the weekend. They look so cute, and they sound delicious! Don’t judge if I start earlier in the day than I should.
