Pinterest Challenge - Happy National Thrift Shop Day

Today,  August 17th, is National Thrift Shop Day and I am joining the Pinterest Challenge to show how I used old frames to make wreaths.

The purpose of this challenge is to actually make something from a photo we have pinned.

I purchased this frame from the local thrift shop and pulled out my box of fall florals.  I played around with placement a few times:

This was the final result:

I simply glued each piece onto the frame and added a bow - easy peasy!

This is another I made:

Hop on over to see what my clever friends have pinned and created:

  1. Such a neat idea! Wreaths are one of my favorite things to make, and have out. I never considered using a wreath to create one, but now when I see nice frames at the thrift store, I am going to be thinking of this project.

  3. I love how we've got 2 versions of the frame wreath in this month's pinterest challenge. The same basic concept but 2 very different versions. These lovely autumn flowers are just beautiful and I love the black and white check ribbon with them.

  4. Looks really good. I never do think of remaking frames as wreaths and I don't know why because they are so pretty. I like all of the versions you shared.
