London Broil Marinade
Every now and then we love a grilled London Broil and this is the marinade I use on the meat overnight. Once grilled I slice it thinly and the leftovers are perfect for fajitas, sub sandwiches or on a fresh salad.
Here's how I prep the marinade:
¾ cup reduced-sodium soy sauce
2 tablespoons red wine vinegar
2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
2 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
2 teaspoons minced garlic
1/2 teaspoon Spicy Montreal Steak Seasoning
2 teaspoons brown sugar
Mix all ingredients well in a bowl.
1 (2 - 2 ½ lb.) London broil (top round, flank steak or skirt steak)
I put the meat in a large zip bag, pour the marinade over the meat and refrigerate overnight.
It was delish with garlic spinach and pasta salad!
Steak, peppers, onions and cheese quesadillas tomorrow night!!

Yum! I'm sharing this marinade to Mr. Big Green Egg. Did you know that I'm married to him? Thanks, Patti!
ReplyDeleteThanks so much for this recipe, Patti! While I don't personally eat beef, I love to surprise my Dad and brothers in law with something special whenever I can. They will be over the moon for this - thank you! Hugs, CoCo
