Twinkie Hearts!

While walking thru Walmart the other day I spied a box of Twinkies and I remembered something my Mom made for us when we were young - Twinkie Hearts!

You need to start with a pair of Twinkies:

One is cut in a half angle to the right, and the other in a half angle to the left...

...and then taking one piece from one cake and match it to a piece from the other cake, to form a heart.

You can melt frosting or candy wafers in a zip bag and cut off a corner to drizzle over the hearts:

It makes a cute little dessert that will please anyone, no matter their age!

  1. Cute idea! I haven't had a Twinkie in decades. Haven't even seen any.

  2. This seems like a fun thing to make for kiddos, but I'm sure Hubby would enjoy it with a cup of coffee as well!
