A few miles down the road is the Pumkin Patch - the owner named it so because children never pronounce the missing "p"!
We used to take our daughters there every year, when they were young, to pick out their pumpkins...
...and it has been fun to see how it has grown through the years with hayrides and treats ...
...it a visit there has developed into a seasonal event for the community...
...My "Traveling Tote" enjoyed a visit with the owners...
...and there were many "Photo Ops" that I couldn't resist...
...and Miss Kenzie couldn't pass up the chance to flirt with the scarecrows...
...she is the perfect size to fill with pumpkins, apples and sunflowers in the fall...
and checks looks so stunning in the pumpkin piles!
Right down the road from there is a new little vineyard...
...and a little sunflower field!
All of these are signs that autumn is arriving in Central NY!

What a fun outing for you and Miss Kenzie. I saw pumpkins stacked up at one of the grocery stores this week. Guess fall is here! I love this time of year and look forward to some fall outings with Miss Merri Mac.
ReplyDeleteLooks like a fun place! My sisters, nieces, and friends are in the midst of planning some time at the pumpkin patch and apple orchard. You took some great photos!
ReplyDeleteYou got me at Pumpkin Patch! How wonderful. I'd love a Pumpkin Patch to visit, as pumpkins only come into a few shops here right from mid October and on November 1st they disappear for a year. Such great fun!

How fun! Miss Luna C has been to the farmers' market to enjoy the 'pumkin' pickin' too. :)
ReplyDeleteI can't wait to go pumpkin shopping! Looks like you found the perfect spot!

I so look forward to going to places like this! We have several in my area. Let's hope for sunny skies and nice days for our visits.
ReplyDeleteVery pretty -- the checked pumpkins are my favorite! It's certainly looking like fall there. Those sunflowers are gorgeous! I wish I could grow them. The ONE year some of mine DID grow, the squirrels jumped on them from the roof and broke them off haha!
ReplyDeleteHey! Cicero is where Andrea lives!!! :) I really love your photos....the sunflowers are so pretty! It looks like Miss Kenzie is having lots of fun!
ReplyDeleteHow fun Patti. The photos are so cute. We shall be visiting a pumpkin patch in the near future. Love those gorgeous sunflowers.
