I made these window treatments a few weeks ago and the trim on the bottom barely shows. I guess I just didn't want to spend $8-$10 yd for fringe.
So, I found some on sale and I can't decide if I like it - - it can easily be removed!
Better - or not?

I know why does have trim have to be sooo expensive.
ReplyDeleteI like it. It really makes your treatment pop! Great job on the treatment. Oh how I wish I could sew.
Happy weekend to ya!

You did a great job on the window treatments. I like the clean lines of the treatment without the fringe. I am ususally a fringe kinda gal but not in this case.
ReplyDeleteI would normally like fringe too - - - but in this case, I LOVE the "understated" first trim. The window treatment is simple, and therefore I think it needs a simple trim.
ReplyDeleteI LOVE that top picture.
But - - - what do I know of decorating, I'm a self-confessed eclectic, NOT a decorator.
Hi Patti,
ReplyDeleteI'm no expert in this department but I'm leaning towards the new fringe. I keep rolling back and forth between the pictures and like the bling that the fringe adds to the window treatment. Looks like a good match to the wall color too.
Have a great weekend.
Jane
I like the new fringe, it's more dramatic...
ReplyDeleteGreat job!
I vote for the fringe!
ReplyDeleteWell, I somewhat lazy, so I would say keep the trim... looks great/ less work!

Thanks for stopping by my blog! I'm torn between both. The first one has a classic look, but the second one is more fun. I don't think you can go wrong either way!
ReplyDeleteI love the fringe...

I like it with the trim, but then I'm a trim nut, so I would lean that way!
ReplyDeleteI'm not a fringe type (though I had lived on the fringe for a long time, hehe) but yes, that works. I like the contrast between the valance color and the fringe.
ReplyDeleteAwesome!
So many different opinions! LOL! I like it without the fringe. You did such a great curve on the valance and I think that shows better without it. I'm normally a fringe gal, but in this case I like the simplicity. I hope you'll post when you decide! Lisa~ www.livingmybestlifeii-lisa.blogspot.com
ReplyDeleteI love the trim.
ReplyDeleteI like it better with the fringe.
