The chocolate cups were easy to make with melted chocolate wafers:
I dropped dollops of chocolate into each silicone mini muffin cup anI used a pastry brush to coat the sides. Once chilled they popped out very easily:
I also tried using silicone mini muffin cups which gave the sides a pleated texture:
I chopped up strawberries and made a little glaze with added sugar, adding a little to each cup:
A dollop of strawberry frosting (or whipped cream) for added flavor....
....and a drizzle of dark chocolate to finish them off:
A few days later I made larger cups and filled them with chopped Nilla Wafers.....
...topped that with huge dollop of cheesecake filling and few berries:
They were served in parchment paper wraps so they were easy to pick up!
You can make the chocolate cups and stack and store them in a zip bag and then fill them at the last minute with fruit, pudding, trifle and many others sweets for a quick dessert!
Serve them on this:
I love the size of these Patti and the white chocolate cups are genius!
