Christmas Wrap Day 2

This holiday gift bag is made with a white paper bag:
I layed the bag flat and traced a small plate to create the curve and then cut on the line. I folded the top down about 2-4 inches. The hat, eyes, nose and holly leaf are cut freehand out of a craft foam sheet and then glued them on (I punched small stars out of the eyes to add a twinkle). The hat band is a scrap piece of ribbon and I used a marker for his pebble mouth
Come back tomorrow for another inexpensive way to present a gift.

  1. Patti: That is very clever. Much, much better than a plain white bag!
    I'll be back tomorrow.

  2. Hi Patty...me again! The jar I used with the buttons and the gift card really does look small in the picture (almost looks like a spice jar) but it's actually a decent sized jar. The mouth of the jar was just big enough to slide the gift card in.
    Have a wonderful Wednesday!

  3. So, so cute! And I sure have plenty of fabric scraps to make the magic happen.
