Parmesan Chive Butter



Parmesan Chive Butter

1/4 cup softened butter
2 T grated Parmesan Cheese
1 T mayonnaise
1 T minced chives
1/4 t garlic powder
1/4 t paprika
dash black pepper


In a small bowl combine all ingredients well.  


        


Cover and refrigerate for a few hours for flavors to blend.  Allow to stand at room temperature for 10-15 minutes before serving.


The softened butter can also be spread into molds and then chilled:



I make this butter for corn on the cob, but it is also delicious as a spread on bread (try toasting it under the broiler for a few minutes!), baked potatoes or on steamed vegetables!
