Some people call them Crash Potatoes, others call them Smash Potatoes, either way they are simple to make and have lots of flavor!
These do not require much of a recipe, and you can flavor them any way you like, but this is how I usually make them. I mix the following seasonings together in a bowl:
You can add any seasonings you like, parmesan cheese - or shredded cheddar, minced garlic..... be creative and flavor it any way that tickles your taste buds!
Cut the red potatoes in half and boil for 10-15 min, until soft. Place on parchment paper, cut side down and smash gently with the back of a spoon:
Drizzle with Garlic Olive Oil:
Sprinkle with seasonings:
Bake in 400° oven for 15-20 minutes. Garnish with chopped chives.
They aren't pretty, but they sure do taste delish!!
Have you made them?
I've never made these but always wanted to. In fact I have some tiny red potatoes in the pantry I might try this on!

I've cooked potatoes using this method without the smash. I'll try it your way next time. Yum....
