Pot Holder Flatware Pockets...

These cute flatware pockets are very simple to make....

I folded the potholder into a cone shape and pinned it on the inside to hold in place:

I gathered a few ornaments and pieces of greenery....

....and tied a ribbon and silver fern to hide the pin:

I placed the ornament and greenery into pocket...

...and then added the flatware:

These are perfect for a buffet or a favor for your guests (the pot holder and the ornament - don't let them abscond with your flatware - LOL)

These are very inexpensive to make.  I purchased the pot holders (2/$1) and ornament ($1) at the dollar store and used ribbon and greenery that were left over from other projects!

These are a cute addition to your buffet table or table setting!

Enamel dinner plate is from MacKenzie-Childs and the pattern is called Highbanks!

  1. That's a great idea. You should've saved this one for 10 on the 10th! I love Highbanks

  2. I cannot wait till I can have another party and use this as a takeaway. Maybe next year, but it would be fun for any holiday or even cute themed ones (a wine potholder for our Cork Poppers dinners, for example). LOVE it!
