Paper Pouches - Perfect for Little Surprises.....

This is a quick and easy little craft to make.

I cut two stars out of brown craft paper:

and used a pencil eraser....

...to add polka dots to one of the paper stars:

I sewed two of the stars together, BUT before sewing it closed....

I tucked a little bag on jelly beans inside and then continued to sew it closed!

A perfect little favor for your guests:

I made a similar paper pouch with these paper coasters:

I traced it onto brown craft paper for a backing.....

I sewed both together and before closing it, tucked in a little bag of jelly beans:

It's always fun to have a little something on your table for guests, especially during the holidays, a birthday celebration or a family gathering:

And it's more fun watching them as they try to figure out how to open it!

  4. Patti I just love this idea. I think I might do this myself, since it will be just my small family getting together this year for Christmas. I can put their favorite candies inside. Great idea, thanks for sharing. Happy Holidays!
