Paper Pouches - Perfect for Little Surprises.....

This is a quick and easy little craft to make.

I cut two stars out of brown craft paper:

and used a pencil eraser.... add polka dots to one of the paper stars:

I sewed two of the stars together, BUT before sewing it closed....

I tucked a little bag on jelly beans inside and then continued to sew it closed!

A perfect little favor for your guests:

I made a similar paper pouch with these paper coasters:

I traced it onto brown craft paper for a backing.....

I sewed both together and before closing it, tucked in a little bag of jelly beans:

It's always fun to have a little something on your table for guests, especially during the holidays, a birthday celebration or a family gathering:

And it's more fun watching them as they try to figure out how to open it!

  1. How very cute, Patti! Wait till the boys get to open little surprises like those. let alone the adults!

  2. What a really cute idea! You could use it at Easter with Easter eggs etc. Love the idea. Thanks

  3. This is such a cute and creative idea, Patti! My sisters and the littles are going to be bananas for these. I can already tell :) Thanks so much for the easy step by step, CoCo

  4. Patti I just love this idea. I think I might do this myself, since it will be just my small family getting together this year for Christmas. I can put their favorite candies inside. Great idea, thanks for sharing. Happy Holidays!

  5. Darling idea Patti and so thrifty. So many different items to tuck inside. It is great how you can decorate each one to your liking.
