A "Sweet-cuterie" Tray

Sunday was our "Apple Cider Making Day" with family in Williamson, NY, the "core of apple country"!  This where my SIL and BIL live and they have a few apple trees, pear trees and an apple press.

I brought dessert:

I used my large enamel tray....

...and decided to make some "pumpkin" cupcakes using 2/3 of my silicone pan (the center molds are roses, so I didn't use those):

I found round Pumpkin Spice wafers to use as stems and I put the cupcakes in little paper cups from Sophistiplate.

I cut "stems" from the long wafers and added green frosting leaves:

I also made cupcakes with chocolate frosting, brownie bites and peanut butter cookies!

So, I called this a "SWEET"-cuterie Tray!

As for the Apple Cider making, it was delish:

  1. That sounds like fun! We don't have apple trees around here - peaches rule. But that sounds like such a perfect fall day!
