We enjoy flavored butters so when I saw this jar of Roasted Pepper Bruschetta I knew just what I could make!
I chopped a few tablespoons of the peppers and mixed it with 1/2 stick of softened butter, 2 mashed garlic cloves, some spiced seasonings and salt and pepper.
I spread the butter into 'leaf' butter molds:
I froze the butter and then popped them out of the mold:
This was delicious on steamed corn on the cob!
YUM!
The corn has been so good this year - not sure where it is coming from, but it's delish!
Local corn should be ready soon.
I bet it would be good on fresh baked bread too! Yum!
ReplyDeleteThat is so pretty!! Ok, sounds yummy too, lol. That would look really pretty in a fall table.
ReplyDeleteSo pretty Patti! I still want to make your Maple Bacon Butter! Yes fresh summer corn is my favorite summer vegetable, I could have it every day :)

I always forget about flavored butters - they are so good! I've only made sweet ones, so I will have to try a savory version soon. And hooray for summer corn (:
