Five minute $2 pumpkins....

Here's a quick and easy way to make some pumpkins to match your decor:

Purchase a foam pumpkin from Dollar Tree and cut out the stem with a serrated knife:

Purchase a "fat quarter"of fabric at Walmart for $.97 (HERE) and cut it into an 18" square:

Wrap and tuck the fabric into the hole of the pumpkin...

...working around the pumpkin...

... until it looks like this:

I save my pumpkin stems each year, so I glued it onto the top.  You can also use a stick, thick dowel, a wine cork or a branch with leaves!

Now you can have your pumpkins match your home decor for only $2!!

  1. This is a great idea Patti. I thought about doing that too but haven't taken the time. Maybe I needed a little inspiration. Thanks. Hugs and blessings, Cindy

  2. That is the cutest thing ever! Yes on the wine corks, I have plenty o those...

  3. Patti, last week I bought these same pumpkins at Dollar Tree. I also bought some at Joann and fabric. Thanks for showing how to use them together.
