Ten on the Tenth....Garage Sale Treasure!

Out Ten on the 10th challenge/theme this month was "Garage Sales".

Every time I see these Venetian stacking tables at a garage sale, I grab them as fast as I can!!

I have paid anywhere from $5 - $25, but once I add my magic touch, they are worth so much more.

These 3 were only $10:

All I did was prime the tops, the legs were in pretty good shape....

...and painted each one....

...I touched up chips with gold paint and sealed the tops with polycrylic!

  2. Patti you always come up with the cutest stuff! In all my years of recycling furniture, I've never come across stacking tables. After seeing these you can bet if I ever do that I will be snatching them up. Great idea!

  11. Lovely! Could you provide some details on the pattern painting process? Do you use stencils, free-hand, or something else?

  13. Patti, I’ve seen these trays/tables so often. Did you free paint the designs or use stencils? What kind of paint did you use? They turned out great.
