My niece is getting married at the end of June and she just had her Bridal Shower. I painted wine glasses for each guest to use and then take home as a favor.
I enjoy painting on glass, so painting over 30 did not seem like a chore!
The hostess made a pretty display of the glasses and also little floral "grow" kits of daisies and roses for the guests:
It was a backyard shower and a gorgeous day in Massachusetts!
Jen was surprised when a "unicorn" stopped by for a visit:
Jen will be the prettiest bride, always smiling and happy!
While she opened her gifts, I made her a "hat bouquet" with all of her ribbons:
We are now anxious for the wedding!!
And I know they will live happy ever after!
LOVE the glasses and the flower favors! She is going to be a beautiful bride..and you did a fantastic job on those glasses and the 'hat'. xo Diana
ReplyDeleteYour painted glasses look adorable, Patti! They are fabulous and quite unique keepsakes for the attendees! What fun! Congrats to your niece on her upcoming nuptials! She's a sweetheart!

ReplyDeleteWhat beautiful hand painted glasses Patti. This was a lovely shower and your niece will be a beautiful bride.......
ReplyDeleteCongratulations to Jen! The shower looked to be a fun time. I love the idea of inviting a unicorn! Your wine stems and the mini rose grow kits made for pretty and useful party favors. Cute ideas!
ReplyDeletePatti, you're awesome. What a labor of love for the bride! They're really pretty.
ReplyDeleteOh this reminds me of my glass painting days! I painted glassware for over 10 small gift shops all over Alabama and many days I painted glasses by the dozens! I loved it, but had NO time for anything else and gradually retired to do other things. Your glasses look beautiful, I love the way you painted the stems~ I know the girls were thrilled!
