Snow. snow. snow.....

During the month of January I pull out a few snowmen to go along with our snowy NY winter.

My table is set for the two of us with little snowman dishes...

...and a snowman cookie jar as a centerpiece...

...he was given to me years ago and i just adore him.

I have anchored the table with Courtly Check dishes.

It seems to snow almost every day in Central NY...

...kids love it...

...but the older I get...

...I want it to be warm and sunny...

...I think we need to plan a vacation and head south!

  1. Would welcome a visit from you, but this might not be far enough south this winter. No snow, but sunny and warm it isn't! I love your cute table. Have flatware envy! Those snowman plates are adorable. Did you paint them? My favorite is the snowman in the CC dish. You are always so clever!!! Stay warm!

  3. Patti, love your snowmen and it's perfect timing for them. Your table for two is charming, love those snowmen plates and they so work so well with the CC. I love the pic of the tree, picture perfect. I love snow but not all the problems that come with it. Got a good taste of that in while on my trip last month to NYC. You are welcome anytime to the Deep South of Alabama, but right now it's freezing! Give us a few weeks and we should be warming up nicely. Have a great weekend......

  4. Patti, love your table setting. I would also love for you to send some of that snow down here to arkansas. I'm not much for getting out in it but love to stay warm and dry and watch the kiddos play in it. It's freezing here but alas, no snow. Oh well.

  5. What an adorable table! Those snowman dishes are perfect for your pretty tableware. The picture of the snow on the tree is the best kind of snow scene in winter. I love it. I could do without the minus degree temperatures though!

  6. I agree about getting older. We've booked a stay at our favorite B&B in Savannah. I hope THEIR snow is gone by Feb!!! Extra cold for us now, stay cozy❤

  7. I love the snow, our last big snow I just stayed home and enjoyed it, I had a job where I could take off anytime, not so now. However we have no beautiful snow this year like you have.
I would love a month in the south this time of year for a new adventure

  11. Love your snowmen Patti! I prefer snowmen to be ceramic! The courtly check really sets everything off perfectly. The sunny south is not very warm right now but it's supposed to warm into the 60s in the next few days, yay!

  12. I love the mix of the checks and snowmen!! Very cute! We have had lots of single digit temps along with some negative numbers where I live, so we have all been kind of hibernating!! I can take the snow, it's the windchill factor that gets me!! Stay warm!!!
