A few table settings from the Parade of Homes...

This past spring, the annual Parade of Homes was held in Clay, NY.  I took 3 photos of table settings that caught my eye.

The first had such intriguing and unique
salad plates with cute square bowls on top:

This is a cute idea for Easter, to make a nest out of a napkin:

and I love how this bowl was offset with the salad servers, however I would use the silverware in this manner:

  1. I'll have to remember to try the napkin nests for a spring garden party. Lovely tablescapes!

  2. I love that 3rd one! I have no idea what that orange stuff is in the bowl, but it looks cool! I love that bubbly plate in the 1st one and the "charger" in the 2nd one. All very cool!

We have a Spring and Fall Parade of Homes here in the Greater Kansas City area put on by the Homebuilders Association. Ramon and I make it a point to get out and see at least a handful of houses each time. Sometimes we make a day of it. It's just fun...and free!!! I get so many great ideas and usually compile a "Honey Do" list as long as my arm in the week thereafter! :-)
