I was lucky this summer that I got to spend a few weeks with my only grandson, Carter. He turned 4 and is such a "boy"! I have two daughters, so the "energy and play of a little boy" is new to me!
We played hide 'n seek, race cars, Power Rangers, assembled puzzles and he taught me how to play a game on the iPad....
....we played ball, went on bike rides, told ghost stories, played "bad guys" and looked for monsters....
....we "surfed", collected shells and saw pirates out in the sea.We even stole their hidden, buried treasure of coins and gold!
We went to the Market, Papa took him fishing, and he met new friends down the street.
Carter begins preschool and I can't wait to hear all about it!
His new school haircut makes him look so grown up!

Lucky me!!
it all sounds like a great adventure! He is very cute.

ReplyDeleteBeautiful family, Patti. Carter is a cutie. Funny, I thought of you and Carter last week when I saw a huge pirate display in a local toy store. '-)
ReplyDeleteHi Patti, what a beautiful little guy. You did some really fun things, sounds like you were busy. I wanted to introduce myself - I'm your swap partner for the local flavor swap. Have a great weekend!
ReplyDeleteHe is such a cutie, Patti! School comes too fast it seems. I'm glad you got to spend a lot of time with him. It sounds a lot like what I do with my granddaughter. Their imaginations are limitless!
ReplyDeleteOh, I love little boys.... and some BIG boys too! God didn't give me daughters, he gave me sons, so I'm partial to that energy. What fun to play with them at this age. So happy that you got to experience it. Vicki in KY
