A Snowy Table for 3

This table is set for 3, two of my girlfriends are coming to lunch.  I chose a snowman theme and my favorite color combination, red, white and black:

I painted "courtly check" heart ornaments for each friend to bring home to hang on her tree

The centerpiece holds 3 snowmen and a candle on a pedestal cake plate.

I will be serving salads and sandwiches - quick and easy!
The black snowman salad plates were purchased last year from Marshalls.  The star salad bowl is an old one, from Pottery Barn.

The snowman luncheon plates were purchased years ago at the Christmas Tree Shop.  The chargers are MacKenzie-Childs enamel dinner plates.

Now we just need a little snow on the ground to complete the theme!

  11. Hi, Patti! I think you're the only person I've seen actually WANTING snow! We've been enjoying temps in the 50s, 60s and last week even the low 70s!!! VERY unusual for the Kansas City area! Love it! Snow is pretty, but when we get it, we just get DUMPED ON!!! It's great for wistfully gazing out the window while sipping hot chocolate, but a whole other story when we have to drive in it!!!!!! :-) Great classic color combo, and I love the hearts you painted for your friends. That is really a sweet gesture, AND they go perfectly with your table!
