I have been meaning to recover a few benches with fabric that I have had for many months. This bench has had the same fabric for over 2 years and I wanted to brighten it up a bit.
A few minutes and a staple gun and here it is:
This is one I bought at the thrift shop for $4.99.
My plan was to cover it with a salt bag, but the bag was too small (another one of my plans spoiled by not thinking things through thoroughly!!)
This is now listed on Craig's List - hopefully I can get rid of it!!
Recovering benches or stools is quite easy and a quick way to add an accent color or brighten things up!

Wish I lived close to you, I'd snatch up that bench! I LOVE dragonflies and that fabric is gorgeous!!!!
ReplyDeleteThey look fabulous, Patti.
DeleteHappy New Year! La
Patti , you did a wonderful job on your stools. My favorite is the black and white scroll pattern.
ReplyDeleteSuch a great quick and easy way to make a complete change. They look great! And what a great price on the footstool too! Vanna
ReplyDeleteI like them all actually. I am getting ready to make pillows for my couch with the black and cream buffalo check. Great price on that bench.
ReplyDeleteWonderful redo's. I have a stool just like the 1st one you pictured. Mine is in desperate need of an update. I should get the staple gun out tonight!
