Cucumber Canapes

These are an easy and different little hors d'oeuvre that I served recently for friends at a
Happy Hour:
They are easy to make:
1 8 oz. can crushed pineapple, drained
1 apple, chopped
1/4 c sour cream
1/4 cup crushed walnuts
dash of salt

Mix and chill.
Serve on cucumber slices (which have been dried, so that the mixture does not slip off!) and garnish with parsley:

The tray was empty in no time!

  6. O, girl, I'm gonna make these for my next home fellowship gathering. They will eat them up sooo fast. They sound wonderful. Thanks for sharing the recipe.
Can't wait for you to find something to use your rice sack on. I have another coffee sack (well, Mr. Sweet has found an import warehouse here that will sell him the sacks for 2.00 ea) so I want to make a couple of pillows. Not going to get carried away, tho..something else will hit the Blog scene and totally wipe out all the burlap things. :))
