I bought this table at a garage sale for only $10.00:
I liked that it has 2 drop leaves, sturdy and is compact:
I sanded, primed and painted it. I printed this graphic from the Graphics Fairy a while back (it says something about taking your lunch to the sheets???) To make it fit the table proportionately, I blew up the pattern using a document camera, and then I traced it onto the table top. I painted it with black acrylic paint.
A coat of poly completed the table and I love it!

Awesome! I love the lettering!
ReplyDeleteThe transformation is awesome!!
ReplyDeleteYou are good, Patti! Even with tracing it, I don't think I'd get the lettering as good as you did once the paint hit it. I've got to find a small project to practice that on.
ReplyDeleteIt's gorgeous! You know I love that particular graphic ;-)
ReplyDeletePatti, you continue to amaze! This is an awesome transformation for this table. Love the graphic, and a drop leaf table is something every home should have at least one of. They are such versatile pieces of furniture.

Beautiful transformation! I live in Central NY, too. Why haven't I found any $10 dropleaf tables? You must be snagging all the good stuff before I get there. ;)
