We had a snow day off from school today. I get just as excited as the kids when the school cancelations include our district!
Yesterday I received the new issue of Taste Of Home and the soup pictured on the cover caught my immediate attention:

Patti, as a retired teacher I can so relate to the joy of a "snow" day. And that soup looks yummy. Nothing better on a cold day, especially if it's served up in a beautiful setting as you've done. I'm a MacKenzie-Childs fan, so your Taylor pattern plate caught my attention. Looks great with the checks and polkadots.
ReplyDeleteThat looks yummy! Comfort food at it's best!
ReplyDeleteI think teachers are MORE excited than the kids - - - especially if we KNOW in time to NOT get up and get ready for school!!!!
ReplyDeleteIt is so much fun to have a snow day and soup makes it perfect! Soup around here tonight too. Your setting is so cheery with the different colors and textures. Stay warm!
ReplyDeleteYour Mackenzie-Childs is the perfect backdrop for your deliciious looking soup. Thank you for sharing your charming design. Cherry Kay
