This can be made for any occasion but I always make them for Valentine's day.
All you need is red or pink felt and clear plastic:
Stitch 3/4 around the heart, stuff it with candy, and complete the stitching to close. (It is easier to sew it plastic side down)
I have also made these by punching holes all around the edges and stitching it closed with yarn or embroidery floss!

That is the cutest idea, I bookmarked it, which is the highest compliment a blogger could get. I could see this for all of the holidays. I figured out sewing plastic onto fabric that yep, plastic side down.
