Remember this lampshade I covered?
I have been searching the thrift shops for the "perfect base", without luck - until today!! I ran into the Christmas Tree Shop for plastic forks and VOILA...on the sale cart was this lamp base for only $.97:
Ironically, it was missing its shade!! And mine looks perfect on it!
This past weekend I found this cherry end table at a garage sale for $10.00. My daughter needs an end table so it will be sprayed black for her family room....Stay tuned to see how it turns out and also to see my latest purchase from Salvation Army (I am blaming this new "Thrifting Obsession" on all my bloggy friends - yes, that means YOU, too - I can't take the blame all by myself). I'm joining Thrifty Thursday at Tales of Bloggeritaville and Transformation Thursday at Shabby Chic Cottage
Yay! It Fits!

Lookin' good!
ReplyDeleteGreat timing for the lamp! And thanks for the sewing machine insight - I had NO idea the needle has to be changed from time to time. I guess I'm still a novice - ha! Thankfully, the hubby changed it for me.

thanks for visiting me .. since they hung those pots on a masonry wall I can only guess they used masonry screws and thin wire around the lip of the pot.. wish they'd have given instructions, but they didnt..
