Syracuse Polish Festival

This was the 61st year for the Polish Festival in Syracuse, NY.
It is held in Clinton Square:

My husband is of Polish decent, his grandfather was born there.

This is me, walking away from my husband….

…as he spied the t-shirt stands...

…and had to buy this:

…and THEN decided to wear it!!

The dance group was from Canada ...

...and they were awesome!

Colorful costumes..

…and amazing talent.

The polka bands were lots of fun!

And what would a Polish Fest be without Authentic Austrian Streudel??:

I decided to amuse myself and get a henna tattoo...

It looked a lot better the next day!!

We are lucky that Syracuse has festivals every weekend of the summer and there is always some type of cultural event to attend!

What's going on in your neck of the woods?

  1. Patti, what a fun looking festival. To top it off, it looks like an absolutely beautiful day to be out and about enjoying the activities. It's hot and humid here, so outdoor festivals don't appeal to me like they once did. '-)
    Thanks for sharing the fun.

  2. That is a great festival, Patti. My hubby is Polish, too, and his gd came from Poland as a baby. We have a large Polish festival here in Pulaski, WI in August (this year, I think). Hope you have a great week- xo Diana
