Here is a fun table setting for two that I quickly put together for a friend who stopped by for an impromptu lunch:
I used paper flowered placemats….
...my favorite checked enamel dishes and depression stemware...
…a vase of wildflowers…
(they look real, but I confess they are artificial!)
…I slid the table out of the corner of the room and there was just enough room for the two of us...
A quick lunch of salad and breads and a glass of wine, by the window, on a warm sunny day, with a girlfriend - life is good!

Liz, no, I didn't paint this table, it is a M-C table….I wish I could find some table bases that resemble this shape, so I could paint some!!
