The weathermen were in a tizzy last night reporting that the weather would be -20' to -30' this morning. Schools canceled today's classes before the students were even dismissed yesterday!
It is only 0' outside this morning in Syracuse.
But the windchill makes it feel like -20'
The highway is closed about 10 miles north of us for about a 45 mile stretch due to lake effect snow - The sun is shining here and the temperature has risen 1' since I started this post!
Winter in Syracuse! - COLD!!
The temp was 0 here too, I'm not sure I ever remember that before! We've had 0 wind chill, but the actual temps? Stay warm:@)
ReplyDeleteHere we are in Texas shivering when it's in the 20s. I don't think I could adjust to such temps, Patti. Glad you don't have to get out. Bundle up and stay warm! ~ Sarah
ReplyDeleteOh boy! Stay safe and warm. It's about 7 here today. Not sure what it is with the wind chill but darn it's COLD!

I won't tell you what the weather is here in SO CA as I feel so bad for all of you in that terrible cold weather.
ReplyDeleteI would NEVER leave the house. Stay in and keep warm and hopefully it will get warm quickly.
Have a wonderful week.
Mary
It is even cold in Alabama, 9 degrees this morning! This is our coldest day in over 20 years! Some of the schools closed but not ours. The boy went to school late because we woke up to a frozen pipe and he could not take a shower. Thank goodness it did not burst and flood the basement!
ReplyDeleteIt was 0 here in KY too, but today we're scheduled for a heat wave....up to 32 degrees! Freezing never sounded sooooo good. Stay warm all. Vicki in Louisville KY.
ReplyDeleteNow that is what I call COLD! Low 20's here and that is enough for me! Happy New Year! Hugs and blessings, Cindy
ReplyDeleteIt was -17 degrees / feels like -47 degrees here at its worst and a very difficult few days that I am very happy is over. Love your cute display.
