Saturday was a gloomy day, but winery hopping was planned, so off we went to Seneca Lake in the Finger Lakes region of Central NY.
We met 4 family members at Belhurst Castle for brunch and it was also out first winery visit. The 1880's stone castle overlooks the Lake:
We went to 9 more vineyards - Fox Run, Monello, Red Tail Ridge, Serenity, Anthony Road, Prejean, Miles, Shaw and Glenora:
Most of the wineries overlook the Lake, but it was such a grey day that it didn't make for good photos - you can barely see the Lake in the pics!
This is a once a year event and we try to fill up our wine rack for the holidays!
My favorite taste of the day was Ghost from Miles Winery!
It's a fun way to spend the day, and a great way to find new wines to try!
We ended our day with dinner at Parkers in Geneva!
