Musicians were playing on the sidewalk:
Women were being reprimanded by the Constable:
Boys were singing carols:
And we had a fabulous dinner at the Sherwood Inn, which is over 200 years old (history here)
It's a beautiful Inn, with a formal restaurant and a pub downstairs and the rooms are on the top two floors:
The town gazebo and the long pier both have trees with twinkling lights.
If you ever get a chance to come to Skaneateles, you will find that in any season, there is always something to do. Skaneateles Lake is a COLD lake, great for swimming and boating! There is a summer dinner cruise that is a great take. The town has some wonderful gift shops and restaurants and interesting history. Bill and Hillary enjoyed their visit and scuttlebut is that they own property there, Thom Felicia and Tim Green have homes there and the famous Mirbeau Spa is up the street from the Inn. It was a fun and festive way to spend the afternoon!
