A Day in NYC

Saturday I spent the day in NYC with my 2 sister-in-laws. We had lunch at Serendipity:
We stopped by the MacKenzie-Childs store:
and saw the face of their new store, which will be 2 doors away:
The Aurora site is pictured on the doors:
We went to Battery Park and could see one of the new towers being built at Ground Zero:
We also saw the Korean Memorial:
and Lady Liberty:
And a trip to NYC is not complete unless you go to Canal St:
We ended up at Macy's, by the Empire State Bldg:
Once a month, a local bus company goes to NYC for the day. I might go back in October because there is just so much to do that can't be done in a day!

  1. Patti, I know you and your sisters-in-law had a terrific time. Fall is a perfect time to be in the city. OK, now I need to know what you brought back home in one of those black and white checkered bags??????
;-) Yes, looking forward to seeing the McK-C photos........Sarah

  2. You got lucky with the weather for Saturday! Sunday was a rainy mess. I haven't been in NYC in a year and I'm itching to get in there with the boys.

  3. It was beautiful the whole weekend in NY, great time to visit.
It takes over 2 hours to get there from here, so I rarely get there!
