Curtains to Slipcover!

Last summer I bought this fabric at the summer Stickley sale for only $5.00. I made curtains, but they didn't really match my bedroom well:
I took each curtain panel and decided to turn them into slipcovers for my extra kitchen chairs. I "measured and cut and stitched" and" remeasured and recut and restitched":
And then I decided a cute little skirt was needed:
Here's the finished slipcover - a clever way to "upcycle" curtains!

  2. Very pretty, Patti! Even if it was a bargain, it's nice to know that you can remake something like your curtains into something else you can use.
