I recently bought this table at the thrift shop for $6.00. My plan was to paint it green, but my plans always go awry when I pull out the spray can and acrylic tubes!
I sprayed the top Heirloom White and the base green - but after painting the flowers, I repainted the base aqua:
My plan was to cover the top with flowers and then I figured my energy would be wasted because once you set a lamp or book atop, the flowers would be covered. So, my common sense won over and I only painted a few flowers:
And a little black and white is a must:
Just a fun little table to brighten up a room!
What a great shape to that tabletop, Patti! I can't believe you got it for $6.00. I wish I could find a deal like that here. You are so talented! I love the flowers you did on the top and, of course, the black and white checks to the side.
ReplyDeleteHi Patti!
ReplyDeleteThis turned out beautifully. It is so cheerful now.
Great makeover. Such a fun and pretty table now!
ReplyDeleteOnce again I'm kicking myself because I saw a similar table last week garage sale shopping and it was $5. It did have a little crack in it but you've shown me the possibilities!
ReplyDeleteLove the black and white touch!
