I went to MOOD in NYC on Saturday...
Mood is a treasure trove of haberdashery - to die for - a must for anyone looking for trims, fabric, buttons, etc.
Do you watch Project Runway? That's where they shop! I could have spent the whole day there (and I could have spent lots of money, too).
I came home with a few trims, some ribbon, boning (to make jewelry) and a fabulous button for a coat makeover!
Why am I linking to Transformation Thursday?
Because once you go, you will never be the same!!

I'm getting Moody because I haven't been there!

Hi Patti ~ just wanted to let you know I've been enjoying your NY posts!
ReplyDeleteI would love to hit Mood someday!
Hi Patti. You crammed a lot into a short stay in NYC. I am enjoying your recap.
ReplyDeleteIsn't haberdashery a fun word?
Hope you are having a wonderful week! La
Oh, Mood is one of my daughter Anne's regular haunts; she's in NYC often to "swatch" fabrics, and Mood is a stop for the "fixings" she needs. (She's in grad school for theatrical costume design.)
ReplyDeleteI love when she snaps pics with her phone and sends them to me -- vicarious shopping is so thrifty!

I would love to go to Mood. Seriously. When the contestants from Project Runway go there it's our fave. Isn't the dog's name Swatches?
ReplyDeleteLooks like fun.
Glad you had a great time in the city. I do love Project Runway and Tim Gunn.
