A few years ago I decided to create a few things with my large box of wine corks.
I am still saving our wine corks and just made this strip board:
It was quite simple to make. I took a long, thin strip of wood, corks, a ribbon and Elmer's Glue.
I lined up a variety of corks, each one is different:
The corks were each glued onto the strip of board.
As I was gluing, I thought you could use a ruler or yardstick as a base, too.
I was lucky that I still had a variety of corks :
Yes, we like wine!
I added a ribbon loop at the top and it was complete.
A very easy board to create to hold memos or photos.

I love this, Patti! I've been saving wine corks. I don't have as many as you, since my hubby is more the wine drinker than I am, but I'm going to have to figure out what I want to do with them at some point.
ReplyDeleteVery cute idea, Patti!
ReplyDeletethat is so cute! I love wine cork projects! I'll be making this very soon. Great as a gift with a bottle of wine too!
ReplyDeletelove this! I need to drink more wine so I can do more projects like this!
ReplyDeleteGirl - you really like your wine! I could probably shingle my roof with all of the wine I go thru!
ReplyDeleteLove the simplicity of the project - just my speed!

My sister has a winery in Oklahoma that we go to every year when we visit my son in Kansas. Sadly they use the plastic kind of wine cork so I don't save those. I have to purchase mine at garage sales!
