What to do with leftover cranberries and cranberry sauce......

Do you like Cranberries?  Here are a few recipes that you might enjoy.....



Cherry-Cranberry Punch


Dissolve 3 oz cherry jello in 1 cup boiling water.  Stir in 3 cups cold water.  Add 6 cups chilled cranberry juice, 3/4 cup thawed lemonade concentrate and 10 oz vodka.  Chill.  Just before serving stir in 1/2 c cranberries and 1 liter gingerale.

                      Cranberry Fruit Salad: 

2 cups boiling water

1 (0.3-ounce) package cherry-flavored gelatin mix (such as Jell-O)

       1 (0.3-ounce) package watermelon gelatin mix

Dissolve both packages of jello in water and add the following ingredients:

       1 (16-ounce) can jellied cranberry sauce

1 (20-ounce) can crushed pineapple, drained 

1 apple or pear, chopped 

       1 celery stock, chopped

½ cup chopped pecans

Stir well and refrigerate for a few hours.
