Pistachio Biscotti - Cardamom from Selefina


 Cardamom is spice derived from the seed pods of plants in the ginger family. It is known for its distinctive, warm, and aromatic flavor, and is widely used in both sweet and savory dishes, especially in Indian and Middle Eastern cuisines. 

Selefina Cardamom pairs well with fruits that aren't overly sweet, have a balance of sweetness and acidity, or have a natural earthy or warm flavor profile.  Common pairings include  apples, pears, oranges and apricots. Berries like cherries, blueberries, and raspberries also work well with cardamom.

Little Zing Mustard Sauce

I recently received a bottle of Little Zing Danish Mustard Sauce to review. I created a few recipes using this delicious sauce and it is now something that will always be in my cupboard!

Upgrade your meals with the mustard made for drizzling.


It is sweet, spicy, and versatile—it's perfect on everything from steak to sandwiches .

I drizzled some of the sauce on Deviled Eggs - the flavor was sweet and zesty and a perfect accompaniment to eggs.  



The next time I mixed some of the sauce into the yolk and mayonnaise YUM!  And also added a few chopped dill pickle cashews on top:



This mustard sauce will always be added to my deviled eggs!!

Back to the Little Zing Mustard Sauce.....

The mustard sauce is perfect drizzled on hot dogs, but it is a lighter texture than common mustard.
