We all know that chocolate goes well with peanut butter, right?
Well, if you agree, this quick bread is for you!
If you want to change it up a bit, leave out the chocolate chips and serve a slice of it with jelly!
I have said it before, and I will say it again, I LOVE quick breads. They are simple to make, they use baking soda or baking powder rather than yeast and are delish!
Peanut Butter and Chocolate Chip Bread
- 1 cup fat-free milk
- 2 large eggs
- 2⁄3 cup granulated sugar
- 1 cup peanut butter
- 1 teaspoon kosher salt
- 1 tablespoon baking powder
- 1 3⁄4 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 cup milk chocolate chips
Instructions:
- Preheat oven to 350°F.
- In a large bowl add milk and eggs and beat well with electric mixer. Add sugar and mix well. Add peanut butter and mix well. Add remaining ingredients and mix until flour is incorporated. With a wooden spoon or spatula, stir in chocolate chips
- Pour batter into greased 9-x-5-inch loaf pan. Bake for 50 minutes or until wooden toothpick inserted comes out clean.
This isn't a very moist bread, like most quick breads are, but it goes well with a tall glass of cold milk!
I even enjoy it toasted with a little jelly!
