Pickles and Cheese
Here's an easy and tasty appetizer for the holidays:
Place about a tablespoon of grated sharp cheddar cheese in bottom of silicone muffin pan. Place a dill pickle slice or bread and butter pickle slice on top and cover with more cheese. (you can add some seasonings if you like) Bake at 400° for 10 minutes. Let cool on pan and serve.

I also dry the pickles on paper towels before placing them on top of the cheese:
When you take them out of the oven, they will be bubbly! Let cool before removing and serving
After cooling they can be placed in mini paper muffin cups....
....or served as is:
I have made these a few times, with both dill and bread and butter pickles and I still can't decide which flavor I like best!!
