Here Comes Peter Cottontail Brunch....

I am joining our host, Rita  from Panoply, for a
Spring and Easter Tablescape Blog Hop:

Sometimes it's difficult to choose which dishes I want to use when I am having a small gathering.  Over many years I have collected 11 MacKenzie-Childs fluted dinner plates.....

For Easter Brunch I decided on these 4 patterns:
Madison
Stoke Gabriel
King Ferry
Bearded Iris
I have also amassed 17 salad plates, which I use most often.
I choose flat rimmed, rather than fluted edged for stacking:
Madison
Stoke Gabriel
King Ferry
Heather
I am also using wine glasses that were my Mom's and are about 70 years old and flatware from Pottery Barn.  I love the Pioneer Woman's Easter paper napkins this year as they have all of the colors of my dishes......

....and her dinner napkins always have a recipe inside:

The table is set for Easter Brunch for four and the buffet is set for dessert:

The centerpiece is an Easter Egg Topiary flanked by two hand painted candlesticks with battery operated tapers:

Each place setting has a little bunny basket with a chocolate egg:

Once the salad plates are removed I can plate quiche (or maybe this quiche), sliced ham and fireball pineapple:

Bellinis of fresh peach puree and champagne, will be served:

The buffet is all ready for coffee, tea and dessert....

There are a lot of bunnies hopping around here....

.....bunny paper plates and napkins....

...a bunny to help serve dessert...

....bunny ears on the MacKenzie-Childs High Tea Set....

...a few more in the corner, a sweet gift of three checked bunnies from a friend, a prototype set from MacKenzie-Childs...

...and a few more on the edge!!

I am using my vintage milk glass tea cups....

These are Colony Harvest cups and saucers:

...and paper plates and napkins for easy clean-up....

...all organized for easy serving!

  1. Patti, your table is such a beautiful array of gorgeous pastel patterns!! I love the mix and matchiness (if that is a word) of your MKC pieces, you have quite the collection. I love the recipe on the napkin!! What a great idea! Are these sold that easy or did she have them specialty printed? I hope you have a wonderful spring and a blessed Easter! 🐣💜

  2. Patti, You have the most fabulous collection of MKC! And you are a great stylist! I did not know Pioneer Women had paper napkins. The only source I have locally is Wal Mart and they don't carry many of her things.
Your bunnies are adorable and look so nice all together on your server. Thanks for sharing some of your former tables. I know your guests enjoy your tablescapes.
Enjoyed hoping with you. Happy Spring and Easter.

  3. Patti, I love how you combined all the pretty pastel dishes together then added the little bunny boxes with chocolate. You have a wonderful collection of MK pieces to choose from :) Our Walmart carries the Pioneer line, but I didn't know her napkins have a recipe included. They are one more special touch to your pretty table.
    Happy Easter

  14. Patti, MacKenzie-Childs Taylor plates are the perfect choice for spring dining. Your Easter table is darling as are all the decor vignettes on the side table. You have beautiful pieces! It's so special to have these older MKC ceramics in our cupboards. I never grow tired of them. Our dinner plates are fluted too. It adds a festive touch like twirling in a full skirt. Happy Spring! Happy Easter!

  17. Wow, Patti! What great pairing choices for your Easter table brunch! The collection of MC ceramics is representative of years of smart gatherings, and your entire setup is just amazing. The topiary, and all the bunnies are so cute mixed throughout the table and your tea sideboard. Your high tea and tiered trays are fantastic. My vintage heart loves you using your milk glass cups/saucers and your mother's crystal. The paper goods are great too. Pioneer Woman's napkins are the best with those recipes tucked inside. Thanks so much for bringing your treasures and style to the blog hop, Patti!
