A trip to Delaware, Ohio…..

A few weeks ago we went to Delaware, Ohio.

We arrived just in time to pick up Carter from Art School:

The Arts Castle is a beautiful building...

...with a gorgeous turret:

Carter made a wind chime, the dyed a t-shirt,  made a picture book, and a lot of other fun treasures.

That evening he and I put together a dinosaur model:

 

The next day Sara and I went into town, where there was an Antique Car Show.  Delaware is like a walk back into the old days - a perfectly preserved town, with antique stores, gift shops and restaurants:

We also got to see Carter attend karate...

…twice!

There was also lots of swimming...

…in the pool with his mom and papa...

…and a trip to the County Fair...

…to see the Demolition Derby...

….which he really enjoyed...

…and also a Clippers Game...

...with lots of ice cream...

…and a "lucky" catch….

…it was a fun vacation!!
